Common Questions
Is the trip planner free?
Yes, completely. You can build your group and see which rides work for everyone without an account. A free account adds saving, trip dates, lodging, travel, a day-by-day plan, and sharing.
Do I need to create an account?
Not to use it. Your group is stored in your own browser, so you can plan straight away. Sign in when you want the plan saved to your account, accessible on another device, or shared with the people you're travelling with.
Which parks does it cover?
Ride-by-ride data currently covers 10 parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios Orlando, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and Universal Studios Hollywood — across roughly 122 attractions. Wait times and crowd data cover more parks, and we're expanding ride coverage as we go.
How do the height requirements work?
Enter each person's height in inches and we compare it against the posted minimum for every ride, so you can see who clears each one before you walk across the park.
What is Rider Switch and why does the planner mention it?
Rider Switch (also called Child Swap) lets adults in a party take turns riding without queueing twice, so someone can wait with a child who is too small. When a ride works for some of your group but not all, the planner flags whether Rider Switch is available.
Can I plan a trip with other people?
Yes. Once signed in, invite people by email or send them a link. Editors can change the plan; viewers can follow along. Everyone sees the same group, parks and daily plan.
